A lucid, non-lucid dream?
I've had like 4 lucid dreams so far. My first 3 were started by a sudden rush of awareness, knowing that I'm dreaming or that i should reality check. However my last one was induced by a "umm" WILD attempt? I don't really know what to call it. I was napping and attempting to wild, I then lose my consciousness for what I think was about 10 minutes. Suddenly I'm aware again and i can't feel my body. I then remember i was attempting to WILD, which leads me to start thinking about something scary and the old hag appears right before my eyes. Wasn't scary at all since I expected it. I started feeling a little uncomfortable in my bed, just a physical feeling; however, I didn't want to move as not to ruin my attempt. I then started seeing dream objects, chairs, doors, then I saw my room rotating. Suddenly i blackout, and when i open my eyes i find myself in my room. For some reason i know for sure this is a dream. Everything is dark and fuzzy though. I rub my hands together but nothing happens. It feels like everything is in slow motion. I scream clarity now but my brother tells me to lower my voice so my grandmother could sleep. My grand mother is dead :shock:, but for some reason in the dream i lower my voice so i won't wake her up. Which leads me to thinking that i wasn't really that aware inside of the dream. I then run outside the house. It's dark outside i can't see anything, just a pond.
I think to myself maybe i could fly over the pond. I attempt to do it and it works! well, until i start start thinking about gravity! I fall. I could feel myself being sucked deeper and deeper into the pond. Water started coming into my mouth. I was drowning! I wasn't really frightened though, just uncomfortable. I told my self this is all a dream, and i could get out of the water, if I thought I could. Suddenly the pond disappears and I wake up. Well, this is the case for all my lucid dreams. They're all fuzzy and dark. It always feels like my senses aren't fully engaged into the dream. Now that I start thinking about it, I wonder if I should have reality checked. I always think i know for sure I'm dreaming during the dream, but when i wake up i find my actions show that i wasn't really fully aware of the implications of the dream world "if that makes sense". I'm still a newbie to lucid dreaming and I find all of this very confusing :D. Can anyone enlighten me of what he thinks was happening, or give me any tips to make my dreams clearer?
