Please help me figure this out.

I had a dream that i was playing a video game that had me being lucid in that game, but i wasn't lucid outside of the game and its making me go crazy. Can someone tell me what this is?

I believe it means, that you are thinking about lucid dreaming in waking life, maybe even doing some practicing. That idea of being lucid has just manifested itself in your dream.

I usually call those false lucids or non-lucid dreams that involved lucid elements. They can be frustrating at times, especially as a beginner, because they make identifying whether or not you had a real lucid dream all the more harder because now you have to watch out for these non-lucid dreams that masquerade themselves as lucid dreams.
P.S. There is also a positive side to these dreams manifesting as Gab has already stated, because they are living proof that you are actively thinking about lucid dreaming both consciously and subconsciously. This tells me you are on the right track, so don't get too discouraged.
