Lord of the rings style battle

So i've been trying to lucid dream fir a while now and i've read lots of stories and experiences people have had whilst LDing and i was wondering, would it be possible to have a huge kind of landscape like Lord of the rings or even Skyrim where you can walk for miles have battles and fight etc. Just like in the movie or game? Also can you have giant, epic battles between two armies? Also also can you drag out the dream? Almost like living in it where it feels like weeks gave went by and you sleep and stuff? Thanks.

The answer to your first questions are a resounding "yes", those types of battles are completely possible to have in a lucid dream. As for whether or not individuals can dialate time in a lucid dream is up for debate. Some argue they have spent weeks inside a dream that only technically lasted for 45 minutes. Others argue that it's impossible to dialate time that much because the brain has limits on how much information it can process and therefor limits on how much stuff it can experience in any given time frame. You'll find people in both camps on this forum.

I should specify, however, that creating persistent worlds can be difficult even for experienced lucid dreamers. So don't try to travel through all of skyrim just yet because you may find that the city you started your travel from may not be there when you get back.

Don't question whether something is possible or not, just do it, everything is possible in dreams, there are no limits other than ones you make by yourself.

I haven't tried quite yet but it is on my to do list. In fact, it's one of the highest on my list of things I want to do in a lucid dream.

Valinor! If you're trying to recreate lord of the rings there's no better place than Valinor. Especially because being an island would make it easier (no need to worry about the horizon).

Yeah thanks I'll try, however I'm still yet to have my first lucid dream and I was thinking more, Gondor, return of the king style battle
