Dream characters?
Hello!
I'm pretty new with Lucid dreaming but i had many dreams already. My last one was pretty cool. I was at a party and DC's was there too,
and a girl sat there alone. I asked she if she knew about that she was in a dream. She answered: "Yes" and i asked again, and she confirmed.
Everyone at the party new i was the dreamer. They called me dreamhost, and tryed to protect me from waking up. There was a guy that tried to wake me up, by killing me but the other DC's stopped him. They acted really unexpected.
Also i heard that DC's won't answer on questions like: "You know this is a dream?" but for my DC's it's normal?
They also did crazy things, only because they knew about they were in a dream. I heard that DC's should act like puppets too?
The last thing i did before waking up was talking with a girl. She told me that she knew everything about me and that she was my subconscious.
She was almost mocking me by telling this :D
So i wounder how this is possible? Because everyone i read about, when they asking a DC if they are aware about the dream, they don't answer at all, disappear, or looks like "are u crazy"?

Yo, welcome to dreamviews and congrats on lucid dream! :welcome:
Both of those are more like myths actually, how DCs act and what they do is greatly varied from person to person, and even from DC to DC, for some they can be puppets, for others not, some DCs can be friendly and rather smart, some can represent subconscious, and some DCs can even be persistent between dreams. Everything is possible in a dream! :)

Alright! :) but also, when i get lucid, it's pretty hard to create DC's, i tryed to "spawn" items and such things, that works better, but persons is pretty hard to create while lucid. How can i create a DC the easiest way? :)
I trying with "around this corner it should be a person" but it doesn't work :D

From what I've read it's all about expectation. It didn't work because you must have thought it wouldn't. You have to convince yourself that they really will be there when you turn the corner. Otherwise, like you said, it won't work. :)
It might be easier to spawn a DC if you know the person. Try spawning a friend that you know well. If that doesn't work, travel to their home, or anywhere else where they "should" be. Like your friend the baker could be found in the bakery, etc. Good luck!

If DC's is acting as you expecting them to do, it seems legit. But for me they act unexpected all the time, things that i would never tough they were capable to do :) I didn't really know what DC's was before i got this dream, and i didn't know how they were controlled. But as i said at the first post, a girl told me that DC's are controlled in the subconscious :P

I've also started to think about a thing. If you use your imagination to create a DC, while you are awake, you maybe choose how the DC looks like, name and so on, and then you starting to use this DC in awakelife, and like "Do i dream? where is my DC friend?" you maybe start doing this while asleep aswell? So whenever you see this DC friend you created, you know that you are dreaming. The first reaction when you see this DC friend is like: "yay i'm dreaming"
This could be used as a dreamsign :D and ofcourse you can spend time with your dream-friend while you are lucid :)
So, create a imagination characted, and whenever you see this DC in your dream you know that you are dreaming :)

To create a DC, reach your hand behind you and expect to find a hand, and pull them around. But that is more finding a DC. You never know what you will get. Works for me.

I'm at bed now, hopefully i maybe will see my "DC friend" and be instant awere of that i'm dreaming :)
