Can Lucidity "Outstage" Waking Reality.
I guess this applies only to the "Lucid Gods" here, but can Lucidity prove our waking realities to be nothing more than pale imitations of what we are capable of. ie, Does Waking Life then become "Second Best". I just wish Lucidity was not always a way out or mere Escapism or for those with Teenage Angst related problems. Though I have to admit myself if it is really that wise to pull back into reality lessons learned whilst Lucid Dreaming. I mean why mess with the 'Brain Mulcher'.

I am not a LDG, but I do fine in LDing.
In my opinion, the answer is yes & no... In LDs, you don't have to worry about embarressing yourself in front of others, so you can practice or do whatever you wish (just make sure you aren't DSing w/your boss  ).
On Sundays, I know that I am not suppose to do VG, Computer, or adventurous stuff (even forbidden in my LDs...even on Christmas this year)...that is usually when I like to do that most, so I can speed up time & make Sunday end faster!...
I guess it pretty much depends on what mood I am in, or what exactly I am doing in a LD (or a _______...b/c I wouldn't want to come back from Mt Everest too soon!)...I do really like LDs, but I figure that unless I can master DSing someday, I would rather have it at semi-equal ends (2/5 of my life LDing & 3/5 in waking life)(Except on Sundays...love to speed time up then!!) so that I can spend time w/my friends (no matter where they might live).. I think that LDs are a big part of my life, since I have them every night...so it is good to have both!
I am sure that if others were given the chance, it would probably outstage reality.
