Asking about meanings
Hi,
Lately I've been lucid dreaming quite often and I've already stopped being Iron Man, Aang, Spiderman, a jedi, changing scenarios, etc. Because I started asking the people inside my dream the reason why they were there, but almost all of them don't really know a reason.
This what a dialogue would be while I'm lucid:
Me: Why are you inside my dream?/What do you represent?
Random person inside my dream: I don't know/*ignores*
Why do you think that happens?
Maybe its because the random people we see in our dreams don't really represent anything?

Maybe it is because the random people in your dreams represent part of you, and you do not know the answer to those questions at this point in time even subconsciously. In such interactions your expectation when asking the question plays a crucial role, so if you deep down do not expect to get a meaningful answer, you get what you expect.

If you want to get meaningful advice, look for someone important to you or to what you want to know. I had a dream once where I told my subC "I want to talk to you!" and looked for a DC to talk to. The only person I found was a little girl crying on the streets. I comforted her and went off on my way, thinking that my subconscious hadn't told me anything. When I woke up, I left my room and saw an old picture on the wall, and I knew who it was and that my subconscious had told me something important after all. Things are never as they seem. Keep looking, and you'll find something about yourself.
