Sleep paralysis disorder

The past two days I've been unable to fall asleep without encountering episodes of sleep paralysis. I'm familiar with this type of experience from my past of attempting to lucid dream using the WILD technique, however now this is happening without my intent. The process that occurs is as follows. After getting into a restful state by being in bed for a while, an ascending high pitched resonance rings my ears for a few seconds and resides. This happens multiple times in waves of increasing intensity until I fully enter sleep paralysis, after which I tend to experience feelings of terror accompanied by hallucinations of fearful things such as a little demon girl on my bed..
I would like to add that I realize that this is a potential for easy and frequent lucid dreaming and will be using this to my advantage in furthering my skills in controlled dreaming.
