Cant go lucid, cause of puberty??

Hello! Ive been practicing lucid dreaming for about a month now and all ive gotten is a semi lucid which was really boring anyways (i ate a hamburger then it ended) Now im starting to think that i might not be able to go lucid cause im currently in puberty? Is there any technique that anyone would recommend for a 15 year old? My dream recall is okey i think, i recall atleast one dream per night and sometimes 2, not in the best detail but not just keywords either.
So do you think i will be able to go lucid sometime? Im so intersted in lucid dreaming and i really wanna experience it myself.

I don't think lucidity has anything to do with puberty, since I'm still going through it myself. Tends not to stop until 21 for most males. So no, this won't hinder you.

I would recommend taking a week long break to rest your mind. This can take the stress off of lucid dreaming and let you relax about it for a bit, and there's every chance you will become lucid just in this week because you aren't so anxious about getting lucid anymore. After you have a break, maybe try a different technique if you've been sticking to the same one for a month. If you've been skipping around a lot of techniques, then stick to only one for a bit.

Don't get demotivated, it can take some people a long time to get lucid but it is totally worth it in the end. Check out this thread, it's a good read to keep your motivation and spirits up :)

Lol, I'm 14, and I've had hmmm....maybe 120-130 lucid dreams? Puberty has nothing to do with it.

As they said here, puberty has nothing to do with it. Most of our members are of your age.

You most likely just need more practice. And get into right state of mind. Because thinking that a semi-lucid, as you put it, can be lame, is not the right state of mind. If you don't appreciate success, why would your mind strive to give you more?

Lucid dreaming is a learning process. You progress through trial and error, with every attempt getting you closer to your goal. So every attempt, even if you didn't reach LD, is a valuable tool that is to be appreciated.

Another thing is to start with solid, basic technique. DILD is usually recommended to start with.

Training your brain isnt usually a short effort although some have natural skills. Try to become good at golf...how long does that take? With golf you can at least practice by "doing". With LDs I think RCs and ADA are about all you can practice, at least for DILDs...or at least maybe the best "exercises". And that has to seep into the subconscious. But hey, you are going to sleep and dream each night regardless, so dont give up... It doesnt cost much in time, dollars, or effort.
