I've heard of a few websites that have that kind of service, where you provide the art and they imprint and ship mugs, shirts, mouse-pads, clocks and etc. They obviously get a percentage of the profit (no idea how much), but so would DV.

We have plenty of incredible artists here, and quite a few logos that I myself would be willing to pay for to wear in a t-shirt or two. Also, think of how incredible it would be to have a DV/LD clock?

Let me know what \"ya'll\" people think of this. I don't know which websites provide this kind of service, but I could do a quick search if this idea sparks any interest from the DV fellows.

You know, I was just thinking about making a Dreamin of Gamin shirt myself, but LDing only works great, too! Let's see who can draw the best one (probably already know, Aphius).

I think it would be cool to have merchandise for DV, but not the stuff that first comes to mind (all that processed easy to produce bullcrap other sites have) - it would be cool to discuss this and see what stuff comes to mind.......

Like with Seekers "Are you Dreaming"? cards that i got through the post, i thought it would be cool to have a mug that says something like this.

I for one would love to see a leaflet produced for DV....like one you see in those places with leaflets (lol) - giving you basic information on Lucid Dreaming with pictures (like the main page) and then having the logo and information for the site.....this would be cool.

I also think it's a great idea. I would definately sport a DV shirt.

I want a DV/LD baby tee and some matching boy-short panties...god knows a girl's gotta match whether it's visible or not

Great Idea. I'm not an artist but would like to think about wording and after a wile; I'll post my input here. What could be more powerful then everyone working together.

I'm not a big fan of stuff like that, but I would buy it if it had stuff about DV on it, mabie I'd even spend my actual money on a peice of clothing, thats something I've never done.

Yeah, there's a few ways to get business cards. The easy way is to wait. Seeker occasionally prints them, though I'm not sure when or if he'll print more, though I suspect he will. If he does, he'll post an announcement on the top left of the forum homepage. If he's giving them out, then you can just PM him your address and he'll mail them to you. Understandably, postage is a ****, so in the future we may set up a pay-pal account or something similar to fund it as well as printing costs.

As for DV shirts, we could just do simple iron-ons and such, which wouldn't cost anything to the forum to produce. We just post a link to a printable DV banner or something, and whoever wants it buys some iron-on paper and a blank shirt. Then, just print, iron, and wala! That way there wouldn't have to be so much argument about styles, either. Everybody could just print whatever logo/design they wanted.

I'll bring it up on the Art Team board and see if we can get some designs going.

This is a really good idea. And it's funny, I was thinking of starting a thread about this very topic.

I do a lot of designing and photoshopping, so I may be able to come up with something suitable, but I'd like to see other's creations as well.

Well, if you do design & photoshop, join the Art Team! I've just posted the idea there, and I'm waiting for some feedback.

Paperdoll EP (aka. Hysteria) suggested this before, there was even talk of coffee mugs as well as t-shirts and stuff. I think she was really serious about it but I don't know what the go with that is now.

I think it'd be ok, but we don't want to rush into anything, we have to think it through first.

I had ideas to form a lucid dream club at school.

The extension site where I'm at is big on art with state of the art computers and technologies, galleries, and the main art workshop of the school. I'm sure I could get members and of course being that it's such an artsy school find great graphic designers and such (whom I would also have join DV) to help me make pamphlets to hand out on campus and down town about the club. I would like to include the DV site addy in these pamphlets along with my screen name and a brief description of the features of the site.

I also want to make my own iron on t-shirts related to Lucid Dreaming and if it's allowed to do independently, to advertise the url for DV.

I'm also only a 25 minute train ride from lower Manhatten and the borroughs, I could drop pamphlets or business cards anywhere in the city!!!

suggested? i found a place that makes t-shirts and drove 40 miles and got a price quote. there was some problem though, i don't think i had quite enough and i had to give it a little more time and save up and then...something else, ugh hang on let me just wipe the DV staff's spit off my face-

guys, dont worry about the T shirt issue, i have been photoshopping since god knows when
and i will soon submit designs adn make a poll on which you woudl like

secondly, there is a local tshirt makign place in town, adn i am good friends with the owner, adn im sure i could get him to make a bunch

I'm pretty sure cafeshops.com (or cafeshop.com, not sure) does customized T-shirts, mugs, mousepads, etc. Its also a really cool place to get really cool stuff.

Just wanted to revive this topic, though it is older, since school has started i have been wanting some DreamViews/Lucid Dreaming stuff.

Was wonderin if it was at all possible to have a DV store pop up.
