Music in Lucid Dreams
Hey guys!
It's been a while since I have posted, but I'm still here. School has begun and I've been busy, but I'm still doing my reality checks, self awareness, etc. Haven't been having many long lucids lately, but I've had a few lucid moments.
But I've always wondered about lucid dreams and music. Basically, Having a huge dance party or like a music video type thing in a lucid dream is something I REALLY want to do.
Does music stay as consistent in real life? Must you have a strong intention and memory of that song before going lucid and doing whatever? Has anyone had any experiences with this?
Thanks guys ;)

It surely helps the song if you listened to it before a few times. I already had epic music in my dreams a few times, way easier than summoning someone, as most of the time a song is in your head. Won't be hard to add music to your dreams, but you might feel it too awesome literally, may take your attention and BAM, no more lucidity...

There was one task of the month that you had to sing the ABC song in a lucid dream. I realised I was dreaming, so there I was, singing the ABC song... and about ten dream characters who were in the same room as I was started singing and dancing around me, as if the ABC song was a huge, Broadway number. It was AWESOME! :D

Yesterday i had a lucid dream where i was some kind of super-hero, flying and an epic film score was playing all over. It was like i was in a movie.
And, as a musician, sometimes i compose music in my dreams and then i make it in real life.

I tried singing and playing piano in my lucid dreams several times- it's always strange how my subconscious seems to remember all the tunes and lyrics (well, sometimes they are a bit different from the original song, but still) I have listened to in waking life.

Listening to music in lucid dreams are interesting. They play pretty much on their own most of the time I believe. Try not to lose focus, though. :3 It could lead to losing lucidity. :)

Sometimes, focusing on a song or singing something, improves lucidity. Once i had a dream where i wanted to go flying through space. I began singing a song about the universe and i started an easy and pleasant travel through space.
