First Timer, Need Help
I tried to lucid dream last year but it never happen. I have not been attempting to lucid dream recently as I did last year. However, today it just happened and here is a little background and the dream.
No one was in my work place today so I took a nap. During the nap, I dreamed about having a paralysis, I heard that there was someone in my workplace but I just couldn't get up. Then somehow I got rid of the paralysis and become awake in the dream. I knew I was dreaming so I tried to talk to that person in my dream. It did not go well, we had a fight, I told him that i would let him stop me from my first lucid dream, and somehow I killed him (hoops). The the dream continues, I walked around my work place and I saw my co-workers already returned. Then I think I forgot that I was lucid dreaming because I felt worried that my co-worker had caught me sleeping at work. I thought they must had returned while I was sleeping. The people I saw in my work place were not even my coworkers but ppl I knew from other places. This is the last thing I can recall from the dream, then I woke up. It felt so real.
I am gonna try to continue it tmrw, and hopefully explore more in dreams. Today my negotiation did not workout well and I ended up killed the person. I know that ppl can solve problems in dreams and I am goons try that.
Please give some comments, help me the first the dreamer. Thanks in advance

First of all, welcome to DV! :D
Good job on getting a lucid dream! Some people find it easier to have them during naps, so you should try that again later on. :) I do suggest that you start working on Reality Checks, because that way it's more likely that you'll "catch" yourself in a dream.
As for exploring more in lucid dreams, you need to work on Dream Control. Just keep in mind that it takes some practise to get there! Start with small goals, like "next time I find myself in a lucid dream, I'll ask a dream character a simple question", and, as you accomplish those goals, expand them. :)
Oh, and, if you're interested, we have an Intro Class for beginners. You can start a workbook there and we'll help you as much as possible!
