it might be your mind. if you really want to be a DJ then your brain might be making tunes up. why don’t you make them in real life?

      Just a random answer lol

Try playing music while you're trying to fall asleep. Make sure it's something soothing, and relaxing. Your mind shouldn't be playing tunes when your listening to something else..

I often create music while dreaming or LD'ing. Also, when dosed on psilocybin I create the most beautiful and wonderful music I have ever heard and experienced in my life...I call it the symphony of the universe.

String theory shows that humans relate and find such importance in music in their lives because every piece of matter in the universe and beyond is composed of tiny vibrating strings...it's very interesting, google it.

But I would either try new relaxation techniques, or use it to your advantage. if you can keep the music going you could use it as a connection between waking and dream life. say you're making music in your head, then you fall asleep and you're dreaming, but the music you're making is still there, you could use it as a dream sign!

I know exactly what you mean about hearing the music. Its really annoying but at the same time kinda funny.
All it is, is thoughts, nothing else. I would just be sitting in my chair, trying to meditate - to clear my mind of all
thoughts - when suddenly a song I know starts playing in my head. I just try to push it away and ignore it and
it seems to go away without too much effort.

I'd say just try to ignore it like other thoughts as you do to concentrate. Dont even give a second consideration
as your giving more attention to it and becoming more distracted. It works for me.

      Good luck
