Anyone get weirded out by their own DJ's?

      Hey guys,

Recently I've been rereading over my old DJ's. I always write them out in a sort of half-asleep stupor. I wake up and keep my laptop near on my bed so when I wake up I can just type them all out on a sticky note on my desktop without even opening my eyes. I have been reading some of my dream journals from this past week, and I get weirded out by how creepy and insightful some of my dreams are. Some of them I don't even remember. I also find that the way I type is odd as well. I don't remember some of my dreams and I feel as if it isn't me that is typing. Anyone else get this feeling?

      Some excerpts:

-"There was a good bit of gruesome things that happened to some of my friends because that same woman hired some men to come and try to get the fortune that we had found on her old land and bring it back to her. We were tortured to some extent and a few other things."

-"The nerdier nerd starts to stand up for himself for once and the revelation is that you are who you hang out with. We are a byproduct of habits and associations."

Thanks for sharing. It's pretty good that you are able to read those midnight notes. I stopped using tablet as not to wake myself up and often write illegible words on a piece of paper. Many dreams have been lost this way.

I like the second quote. As you said, really insightful. Some of the stories in dreams can be quite interesting, especially the thoughts and conversations. I suppose because you are quite sleepy when you type, you are better able to access these.

I have woken up with circles on a piece of paper... my effects (wallet, keys, and phone) arranged in a way I thought would remind me of a dream, and yesterday "we're buy ABM ban"... I normally write more than that, but my dream self thought that that would be enough.

^lol! I don't think I've ever arranged things to remind me but I do occasionally wake up to a note in my phone with random words that mean absolutely nothing to me.

Hm, only time I get weirded out by my DJ is when I read entries in succession and see how f'd up my unconscious mind is sometimes to come up with the things I dream about.

      Haha, it sure is fun!

Sometimes I can't decipher what in the world did I write. And sometimes I can and it's just something so weird and out of character. This happens mostly when I don't write down enough. Because then in the morning I can't recall it at all. So I started writing phrases and even sentences, and those help me recall the whole dream. happy dreams, y'all

I use a bluetooth keyboard with my tablet. I've got things rigged so that when I hit a key on the keyboard, the tablet turns on, already in the notepad. I can stay in bed, laying down, eyes closed, and type out my dreams. It's worked really well for me and has drastically increased my recall.

I'm not sure I've ever had an insightful dream, but I've certainly had dreams that didn't bother me in the dream but that really bothered me once I woke up and remembered them.

Man I'm thick sometimes. I have an old computer hooked up right next to my bed for watching movies etc and the keyboard is usually touching the edge of the bed. I never even thought to use it for that, I always roll over and grab my phone and then cuss when autocorrect kicks my groggy ass.
