I don' t know the true answer to this... but I typically have lucid dreams and I'm always tired while awake. I have no idea if they have any correlation or not. Probably more to do with other things in life!
I wouldn't think so, I mean your still dreaming, so your not physically moving. I understand that some may think this because you are more aware and awake, but still I don't think you would lose rest.
Generally, the answer is no. Your brain goes through the same cycles and is in the same type of state regardless of whether or not you are lucid. It's only your awareness that is changed. That being said, the events of the dream itself (just as any dream, lucid or not) can sometimes affect how tired you feel in the morning. Dreams that are emotionally draining, for example, may leave you feeling tired when you wake up. Again, this is not impacted by your lucidity. Normally I wake up feeling refreshed and reinvigorated when I wake up from an exciting lucid, ready to take on the world.
EDIT: Of course, I should add that waking yourself up to perform LDing techniques such as WBTB or WILD might make you feel less rested, since you're actually interrupting your sleep. But most people feel that the results of this are well worth it!
Depends, if you have some average dream you will be well rested. If you will have something very interesting or intense, you might be waking up often.
Never had any negative effect from Lucid Dreaming, only when I was trying to quit I had some problems sleeping without LD's and was waking up often. Also Lucid Dreaming helps me get very well rested in few hours when needed.
Quite the opposite, I tend to feel more rested and energized after nights where I had a lucid dream than I do after nights where I dreamed non-lucidly.
I never noticed any negative effects like that, however one's brain surely works somehow different while lucid dreaming. Anyway, I rather get a kick of energy when I wake up after LD, and the sense of success, which is surely a nice and motivating one.
