      FA's

So about False Awakenings; people say they seem so 'real', and 'realistic', right? But they also say that about LD's. And, to be honest, it's not so true.Sure, when I had my LD, it felt cool, and I knew I was dreaming; but if you know you're dreaming, then how can you think it's real?

And with FA's being cool LD chances, well, if it's not lucid, then how do you feel it's real? If you know what I mean then please reply. :3

Well, the normal state of a dream is to make you think it's real; otherwise it wouldn't be a challenge to become lucid--- we'd just automatically see that it wasn't real. I've been in Lucids that felt no different than real life, but this realness didn't impact my knowledge that I was dreaming. And of course in a lucid you don't "believe" that it's real, because that's the definition of being lucid. It just "feels" real.

As for FA's, it's back to the dream making you think you're awake. When most people wake up (unless they're lucid dreamers) they don't tend to question whether they're awake or not. It feels real because waking up is such a natural sign of awareness that you actually have to train yourself to question if you're actually awake or still dreaming. Doing a reality check every time you wake up can remedy this, but the feeling of "realness" will likely not go away if it is a very vivid dream.

Sorry if I completely misinterpreted your question. Hope this helps!
