Issues during DILD
When i do reality check nose plug and realize i am dreaming at the beginning i am kinda able to stop for a moment, then i try to look at my hands which at the beginning they are distorted or something. But i take my time and focus on them and try to remind myself not to rush so the dream stabilize. Lately i was kinda wondering about the finger throu palm RC during waking life and was thinking to try it and see how it works in a dream which in my last DILD i thought about this and gave it a try. But after i am done with my reality checks i face issues that ruin my dream and lucidity. I will feel and have vision like i am drunk as hell and will go on auto pilot and sometimes keep my lucidity for a while, lose it or the dream will end. Also i involve myself too much with dream characters and lately lose my lucidity or the dream ends too. Can someone tell me why is this happening, what measures i could take or what can i do to make my lucid dreams better and fix this issues i am facing?

Perhaps you could boost your daytime awareness, so you have more awareness in your dreams as well.
This tutorial is mostly for a WILD, but many parts of it relate to all LDs http://www.dreamviews.com/wild/13181...prep-part.html

First of all, its great you are having lucid dreams. I see many on the forums still struggling to have them. I am writing a book on LDs and in it I describe the vision and feelings like being drunk, so that isn't unusual. Sometimes I too get too involved with DCs (I get in fights sometimes). But, that isnt all the time. If it is consistant for you, try saying "increase lucidity" at the start. Also stabilize by looking at the ground. Work on pre-programming your planned actions to stay focused.

Let me suggest a few things:
To improve vividness, besides the stabilization routine, you can get results with your dream journal. In your dream journal, try to be pay attention and record sensory detail (color, shape, light, texture, etc.) instead of just narrative (what happened, who was there, etc). Do this for lucid and non-lucid dreams and over time it will improve the vividness of your dreams.
Another trick is DEILD. If you can DILD somewhat regularly but the LDs often fade away, try to DEILD chain them. Often, the re-entered DEILD will be more clear and you'll have more awareness.
Finally, you can plan ahead and try a dream control experiment that will allow you to practice restraint and awareness. Try something very ordinary but that requires you to remember you intent and shift your attention so that you don't get too fixated on one thing. Here's one I suggest: introduce yourself to 5 DCs, one at a time, and have a normal conversation. "Hello... how do you do... what's your name... how did you get here...." Focus on the DC interaction but keep it short and remind yourself to move on to the next one. Another good practice, if there are no DCs around, is to test all 5 senses (sight, sound, smell, touch, taste).
