Damn Dry Spell.
So It's been about 20 days or so since my last lucid dream :?
I'm not really sure what happened I had a week for I did 3 good WBTBs and got lucid 3 times! That was great, now I can't even imagine doing a WBTB when waking up, I've had a busy streak in my life and it is what it is, I still do my mental reality checks, stop DJ'ing as much but I do keep some consistency throughout the week so it doesn't slip.
Due to not wanting to do WBTB in the middle of the night I've been trying to get more familiar with DEILD but I'm having trouble waking up still, I've been doing okay with keeping my eyes closed but it seems I move and it likes an "Well.. shit" kind of moment, DEILD seems like a really good technique if I could do it most nights to sidestep WBTB, eh maybe I'll just suck it up soon.
Also been doing SSILD cycles really quickly then dropping off again but I guess it wakes me up too much, maybe I need to focus less on them.
Well, just felt like saying all of that, dry spells suck, if you guys have any ideas or suggestions regarding the information I provided, I'd be appreciative ;), otherwise feel free to rant about your dry spells if your having one as well, we'll get though it together.
I also have become less active on these forums and feel like this is a decent way to get me back in the mindset.

I think I'm worse:(
I posted a lot of threads about techniques, confidence, bla bla bla. I got a lot of great answers, and now that I am ready and charged for LDing, I say to myself:" why am I doing this?". I need motivation. I thought of taking a break, but I don't want to stop now that I'm ready, even for a little while. You're not alone bro. You know what? I'm gonna lower my expectations to zero. I'll continue the practices, but as a will exercise, no LDs expected. That would be like a break:D

Like Louai said, I need motivation more than anything. After too many LDs, I begin to run out of ideas, and go through periods where I just don't even know what to do anymore.

Dry spells SUCK. I had a teeny tiny short Ld last night but it was also going on three weeks for me. Also a recall dry spell with sometimes just one fragment remembered, where my average is about 4 scenes per waking.
What I did to shake things up:
Joined the competition, added motivation, watched some motivational videos on YouTube (sports themed but still highly relevant)
Shook up my bedtime intention mantras, changed them around and get good recal again 2 nights ago, then pretty good again last night plus the really short lucid (but hey lucid is lucid).
I'm very similar to Op, SSILd tends to really wake me up, but I did it last night while simultaneously doing my get-back-to-sleep relaxation ritual. I very quickly got body hallucinations but they subsided, anyway did get back to sleep and did get that little lucid, so progress.
You just need to find ways to keep things fresh, mix things up sometimes. Reading the dream journals of advanced LDers really helps with motivation.
