Normally I can stabilize a LD with no problem by rubbing my hands together, or grabbing an object. As of the last few LD's I have had, these methods have been failing me completely. Any help would be great. :)

Spoiler for why we ask advice regarding dream control?:
Have you tried other methods? Your brain keeps coming up with ways to prevent you to achieve your objectives (some sort of auto-sabotage), and dream control is also about getting through these self-imposed obstacles. Other ways to deal with an unstable dream would be something like yelling to the dream that you want more clarity, changing scenario (by going some other place), using other senses, or just calming yourself (it will ground yourself to the dream as you become a bit less awake, but careful or you'll loose lucidity if you push it too much).
Oh, and one last thing: remember that dream quality varies: even after loads of lucids many of us still have some lucids where the dream refuses to stabilize long enough for us to carry our tasks ^^
It is very important during your first couple dozens of lucid dreams that you constantly remind yourself that you are dreaming.
Try repeating in your head things like "I am dreaming!" or "this is a dream!" and listen to it.
Thank you both for the great advice.
