Unhappy Sleep paralysis makes me not want to lucid dream

Hello! So im really interested in lucid dreaming and ive actually already had about 6 lucid dreams. I have recently read some scary sleep paralysis stories that makes me not wanna practice lucid dreaming, i am a very easy scared person and if i would experience sleep paralysis i would probably be scared for life. Is there any technique, or something that almost guarantees me no sleep paralysis? I always sleep on my stummich or on the side of my body, ive done mild and dild before. I so wanna lucid dream but i so dont wanna sleep paralysis.

Sorry for my English as its not my native language and im writing this on my phone.

Sleep paralysis shouldn't occur as it's not part of the process of any lucid dreaming technique. I have experienced it twice, and the first time it happened to me I didn't even know about lucid dreaming, so it can happen without trying to lucid dream. The point is that you shouldn't not be scared, it's not a common thing and, if somehow it happens to you I'm pretty sure you will survive

I like destruction and reality, and one invariably leads to the other.

You already had 6 LDs. Without a hint of SP. Because that's how it is. SP is not part of lucid dreaming. If it happens, it's not because you are LDing, as GigaByte correctly mentioned. You may get SP 1-2 during your life, it's not something that happens often. I mean, it didn't happen to you so far, right?

What you may/may not experience when using WILD/DEILD technique, is hypnagogic hallucinations - HH. But those are nothing more than dreams that are already forming. If you have dark thoughts or you are scared, they may get scary. Because they are ruled by our thoughts, emotions and expectations.

But when you DILD, you will not have any HH.

Btw, I'm a scaredy cat too. And before I started WILDing, I thought, I'm gonna be soooo scared. But funny thing happend. When I'm actually WILDing and seeing HH, somehow I know I'm safe in my bed, those are just hallucination/dreams, and I'm not scared at all. Many people enjoy their HH, and so do I.

Don't let others experiences scare you away from LDing. You may not get anything scare as others do, as we are all different. happy dreams
