I think it was SP, but I'm not sure. |

So I experienced sleep paralysis for the first time last night. I woke up from a dream and was able to get up off my bed but as I was standing up, I became immobilized and felt a vividly real scary distortion of my muscles. Almost like an evil force was trying to hold me down. I didn't see anything evil but I heard a really weird high pitched alien UFO type sound. I then woke up back in my bed. My question is: Was that an actual sleep paralysis experience or did I just simply dream of having sleep paralysis? I would imagine it was a dream since I was able to get off my bed but maybe I was just hallucinating? :S |

I fill my heart with fire, with passion, passion for what makes me nostalgic. A unique perspective fuels my fire, makes me discover new passions, more nostalgia. I love it.

It's ok. Thanks though. |

SP is almost always a dream in which you have paralysis... not you stuck in bed with your eyes open. Also, it is VERY common to experience/perceive something evil during SP... happens to me pretty much every time. |

Oh okay, thank you. I always feared SP greatly but it actually wasn't really that bad. |

It could have been either - I've never experienced SP that badly except the first time |
