A Tutorial for All levels (Mostly Point-form)

-A Personal note- (Skip if you don't care.)
I have been inactive for a while as some of you may have noticed. I currently have grown an addiction to a Nightmare Fueling website called "Creepypasta Wiki". I even made an account.
Anyway, i have been there for the time that i have been gone, and i will probably continue to spend alot of time there.

-Tutorial for Vividness&Recall- (Tier 1)
-If your on your back, tilt your head to one side. (Position to fall asleep in)
-Try to prevent Snoring. (They say it can prevent dreaming altogether.) The point above is a good way to prevent this.
-A Banana before sleep can help with Vividness.
-While going to sleep, focus on the light distortions behind your eyelids. It has an affect on your brain that helps
dreaming.
-If you don't mind waking up say, 4-5 hours tn the middle of sleep, do so, and then go back to sleep and focus on the light distortions
as mentioned in the previous point.
-When you wake up, write down your dreams. Keep doing this, and your recall, (And vividness) of dreams will be greatly enhanced.
A good way to get the recall for writing it down is to try the banana i told you about.
Tier 1 Extra Notes:
You can't really get anywhere with dreams if they aren't recalled, or very vivid. I, personally (I know we're different, shut up asshole.) have had a lot of dreams with shitty recall. Even when i had the chance to write it down, it didn't seem worth it because it really just felt like a fragment, or i couldn't see very well. DON'T ever make that mistake.

-Lucid Induction- (Tier 2) [YOU MUST PERFECT TIER 1 BY RECALLING DREAMS REGULARLY]
I don't really have a point form for this topic, because although lucid dreaming has a wide variety of techniques, they always require more explanation. I could make a list of techniques, but that would be pointless because there's no explanation, and there's already a list with links on the site in "Wiki".
Anywho, i can explain a very useful technique known as Reality Checking.
It's where you take a few minutes of your day to really ask yourself, "Am i dreaming?". You don't need to say it out loud, but do some reality checks. Do something that you could do in a dream that wouldn't work in real life. Some of the most reliable ones would be:
-Pinch your nose and try to breath through it. If it works, you're dreaming.
-Look at your hands. Count your fingers. If there's anything odd about your hands, well, you're dreaming.
-Look at a clock on a stove. Or a regular clock. Maybe even any text. If it looks weird, you guessed it. (My friend once saw 9A. on a stove clock. She had her first lucid dream that night.)
-Try a lightswitch.
-Jump. (If you fly up, or fall through the ground, or anything weird, you are dreaming.)
I could go on and on for a long time. You can also make up your own reality check, just make sure it's something you would remember to do. Do reality checks about 5 times a day, and you should see results rather quickly. Make sure your reality checks are thorough, and not lazy. Really take five minutes to do them, and ultimately focus on if you're dreaming or not.
There's also another technique called ADA. It would seem like another simple reality check, but with practice, this can be ultimately effective. This also has a good affect on Tier 1's purpose, Vividness&Recall. Anywho, Do this 5 times a day like reality checks, but without the reality check. Sounds great, doesn't it? Well, there's a small catch, if you want to call it that.
Take five minutes to just survey the landscape, surroundings, and focus on the little and big things around you. Gain some awareness of where you are.
You could stop here and do reality checks, which is fine, but continuing: After you feel fully aware of everything you see, try your other senses and do the same thing. What do you smell? What do you feel (Physically)?
Maybe you even have the taste of something. Try all five of your senses. (See,Feel,Smell,Taste,Hear) After a couple of minutes, (Don't be too long, unless you plan on doing this the whole day) You should be done. Do this five or more times a day, and again, DON'T be lazy. This seems like a normal reality check like i said, but i've heard it can be a little rewarding once gotten used to.
If reality checking or ADA doesn't seem like something you can do, or get benefits out of, then go to the Wiki at the top of the site and look at another technique. YOU MUST STILL PERFECT TIER 1 TO GET ANYWHERE.

-Stabilization&Dream Control- (Tier 3)
This is where the fun begins. When you've started having lucid dreams, It's time to start having fun in them. This is the whole reason you even WANT to Lucid Dream!
But before you start Killing dream people, Destroying buildings with Telekenesis, and whatever else it is you want to do, you MUST do a Stabilization Technique. Don't worry, this is pretty easy. You could get this on your first try. Stabilization Techniques are techniques that make your lucid dreams More vivid, and they make it so you don't wake up by accident. Don't worry, it won't interfere with your fun. There are only a few known stabilization techniques that work really good, but they do work, REALLY good.
One is to rub your hands together. Rubbing your hands together in a lucid dream makes it more vivid, and keeps your control with you. It signals your conscious, and makes everything in your dream feel so much more like waking life. Like it doesn't already feel like waking life, right? haha. It's simple. Rub your hands together.
You could also try spinning. I'll be honest, i don't know why this works. I hate to say "I don't know" in a tutorial, but i don't see how this works in any way. All i know, is that it is just as effective as rubbing your hands.

Now, Back to the fun part. What to do first! Fly? Kill? Destroy? You could even change what you are. (Example, you can Be a dog, cat, or ANYTHING. Even if it isn't real.)
Even if it doesn't exist in our real world, it definitely can in your dreams. I'll leave this up to you, but for anything to happen you need to EXPECT it to. For example, let's say i wanted a weapon. I would need to Expect it to be in my hand, or i would need to Expect it to be behind me. "With the push of a button, i expected the windows of the hotel to shatter, and it happened." With great power to emerge in dreams, comes strong expectation. Don't worry, you won't always have to look behind you to get something. With practice, you can have anything happen whenever you want. But on your first tries, you might want your next destination to be behind a door, or the person you want to see should be expected behind you.
Also, stuff like Telekenesis and Flying are also things that require practice. Just keep trying.
When you get enough practice with that, you will be THE MASTER of your dreams. :D
