I don't even...what?
I have never heard of this phenomenon before. Is this like a whole different new way to masturbate? Because I DO NOT want to miss out on that!

I've no idea how many people get it, Mystycal. I think if you don't get it, it's fairly safe to say you can't learn it.
Someone always has to bring masturbation into it.:cheeky:
I didn't realise Scatman John was no longer with us, btw.
Awweeeeee. Is it similar to that feeling you get when you listen to really good music you identify with and get the shivers and that?
Heheheh sorry :D
Me neither. I had to Google him after you said that D:

As long as I know, that's called "Frisson" (Tak mi sie wydaje! :))
Ahhh okayyyy. Gawd I'm quite of bummed out that I'm missing out on something which sounds so awesome.
Si si, soy Polaco <----- about the only Spanish I know. I learnt it for like two or three years in secondary school, but I remember almost nothing.
How do you know Polish? :)
2 years living and working in Warsaw, and married since then to a lovely polish wife.
About the asmr, next time youre at the doctor for a physical, try to feel and watch everything as if you were only 5 years old, being relaxed. If asmr is like masturbation, the real life physical would be like an orgy :) at least for me.
Its like every movement or word is fascinating in itself , like its the first time you see/hear, but depending a lot on the voice of the person and the situation itself. And in the act of observing those actions, your mind relaxes to the point of the gentle tingling.
I have not ever thought to try and trigger my asmr in a dream, probably because when I want to enjoy it I just go watch a video of someone turning pages, opening a box or eating yogurt, haha! :) although I've found that sometimes I just can't get that "good feeling" even on a well done video.
I'm not sure if this is really ASMR, but I have had a tingling sensation near the upper part of my neck when listing to some good music.
