CPAP and POTIONS

This feels like a safe place to investigate an idea about aroma therapy for lucid dreaming.

Recently I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and I am now sleeping with a CPAP machine. The one I have has a humidifier attached to relive the patient from dry mouth.

My question is, has anyone ever uses their machine for aroma therapy? Either placing some thing in the water or placing a cotton ball saturated with some sort of potion in front of the filter. It seams like a great opportunity to introduce a potion to help induce LD. I am presently looking at different web sites that offer dream potions. Any ideas would be helpful. I will keep you posted on my results.

Just from a quick search, Aromatherapy is very popular among CPAP users.

All things considered, I wouldn't doubt that you could create your own aromas and lucid potions. Even training yourself to recognize a certain smell would be a great trigger to realize you were dreaming. Sleep apnea sucks, but in this case I'm actually kind of jealous...
