      Can you make lucid dreams feel like convincing Out-of-Body Experiences?

      I have always been fascinated by the idea of temporarily leaving your physical body and being able to fly and teleport around the physical world, and it would be an insanely cool thing to experience;
      and although I am skeptical that this is actually possible, it should certainly be possible to at least experience something similar during a lucid dream.
      So how close do you think you can come to an OBE during a regular lucid dream?
      Can you make it so stable and realistic that it would give you a feeling of actually having an OBE, so that you walked around in surroundings from waking life that looked exactly as you expected, and snuck on buses and took a free ride around your hometown and so on?

      Interestingly enough, OBE's are very similar to lucid dreams anyway. Yes, it's very well possible.

      I think so too, espacially if you have a WILD.

      Pretty close, if not perfectly close... a lot (if not all) of OBE's might possibly be "just" LD's.

      Of course you can... indeed, because you're looking to do things that are very familiar to you, creating extremely accurate surroundings wouldn't be difficult. I like the free bus-ride idea, BTW!

      In 2013 when I was doing my OOBE inducing methods the technique is horrendously close to WILD in fact it possibly is a WILD I think Intent plays a big role if you intend to have an OOBE then it definitely increases your chances. I have had a good handful of OOBE it is quite difficult to maintain the state and it can be completely profound. I have had quite a few dreams where I become aware and Lucid but get excited and wake up and one full Lucid dream but OOBE's are much less hazier and when you "wake up" or return to the physical its not blurry its like living it however they are my experiences. If you can successfully WILD then try imaging yourself floating out your body when its at the point you can not feel it ignore the hypnagogic distractions you may induce an OOBE.
