      Dream Journal Encouragement

So I just started my Dream Journal: Volume II, and I managed to keep up with my dreams for about a week. In my old dream journal, for some odd reason, I would always write when I woke up. Now, I maybe write down an entry every 2-3 days. This isn't like me. What do you guys do to make sure you write down your dreams?

It's kinda hard to find motivation to write in your journal every morning. What I used to do was set an alarm 20 Minutes before I usually wake up, and then another every 5 minutes until I have to get ready for school, that was usually enough to get me to write in my journal as my main issue was time. Your issue seems more motivation based, which I can't think of anything to help with other then improving recall. Good luck with it all, and Sorry that I can't be of much assistance.

I guess my problem is I have too much recall (Poor Me), and it's just a lot to write down.

Then summarise man, just write down a few dot points, or some basics of the dream(s) - the 'fundamentals' if you will.

What I do works very well for me. I sleep with my phone off because the radiation disturbs my sleep, but I wake up a few times nearing the end of my sleep, usually in between 8:00am and 9:00am, ultimately waking up fully at 9:00am ish. But those few times I wake up I turn my cellphone on and open up the memo thing and right down what I would title the dream I just had on dreamviews in my journal, then fall back asleep and wake again to right another title of the dream I just had. Just the title brings back full memory of my dream later to put it in my DV dream journal. I just couldn't bother myself to scribble on paper because it was never legible.

I record my dreams using a voice recorder, then when I'm in the mood, I write them in my DJ.

I fill my heart with fire, with passion, passion for what makes me nostalgic. A unique perspective fuels my fire, makes me discover new passions, more nostalgia. I love it.

Oh damn it that's genius! I legit bought a mini cassette voice recorder with three extra mini cassettes just before Christmas, and it's just sitting on my night stand unused. I never put two an two together. Things could've been so much easier this whole time.

When i wake up from a dream, i write down the dream in just a few lines, the most important ones. Then, when i have more time, i write the whole story.
