When is the best time to go lucid?

So, I am not new at this, I am LD for many years now, I have had lucid dreams almost every day, but lately none, since I got new job that starts too early to really LD like I was doing it before. I always woke up around 6-7 AM, waited for about half an hour and went back to sleep. I became lucid almost every time and was getting better and better. But now nothing for three months. I was at home this week cause I am ill and I tried LD again, but had very little success. out of 4 days, only 2 really blurry LD, almost like nothing.
So today I started t write dream journal again and started with day time RC and all the mantras etc.. , cause I want to LD again. I would like to try with "night" lucid LD instead of morning ones.

But now I have no idea how do it. If I go to bed at 11 PM, when would it be best to wake up and how to do it? Go out of the room for 30 minutes? Turn on the lights? I cant have my alarm clock set up at night, cause I dont sleep alone, but would really love to continue this.

Can you help me please with ideas?

You can use different techniques like Wake-Back-To-Bed (WBTB) and Dream-Exit-Induced Lucid Dreams (DEILD) to easily become lucid during the nights.

WBTB means that you get up in the middle of the night for a little while, and stimulate your brain and plan the lucid dream you want to have, then go back to sleep again with the intention to recognize the next dream;
DEILD simply means that you wake up and immediately fall back to sleep again, preferably without even moving, and try to re-enter the dream you just had.

It is best if you learn to notice your natural micro-awakenings (everyone wakes up lots of times throughout the night, but we usually don't remember it), because this will let you wake up naturally and peacefully without having to turn off any alarm clocks.
Just tell yourself when you go to sleep in the evening that you are going to try to notice them, and you will be more likely to succeed with it.

I would actually suggest DILDs. No need for WBTB, and it doesn't matter what time you need to get up for work, or if you don't have time to sleep in, as you used to.

You just practice few minutes during day, go to sleep normally and get lucid when you already in a dream.

Thanks guys... I tried both, wild and WBTB, first day nothing, yesterday and today it was a succes with WILD (or was it DILD or DEILD, have no idea?). I started where I wanted to start, I was totally lucid, vividness totally clear, it was looooong, (had DEILD chains, about 5), all together about 20-30 minutes would say.

It was great, except my ability to control things, this is still bad, but have time to do it, will work on it every day.
