There was a TV documentary on LD in German/French - this is the info-site to it: Das Geheimnis des Klartraums | ARTE Future
They say, there would be a study showing LDers are of better mental health than non LDers - but that's it - can't find more on it just like that.Quote:
Laut einer Studie sind Klarträumer psychisch gesünder als ihre nicht-klarträumenden Zeitgenossen.
But seems, there is something.
Definitely. Lucid dreams are almost always beneficial to mental health.
A good place to start might be to look at anecdotal accounts of how a nice lucid dream can keep one elated all day long.
Later you could reference the similarities between lucid dreaming and meditation, and playing games. Both of these have a huge wealth of information on their effects on mental health.
You could argue that what makes lucid dreaming especially beneficial to mental health is that it gives a platform to do what we want, without judgement of others. One can gain the satisfaction of achieving goals, and performing activities which you might find challenging in real life.
Hopefully there's something there that you could use?
