      Mini WBTB?

So I've been practicing the WILD technique for about a week now and haven't been successful, but here's the thing, lately I've been waking up in the middle of the night in a kind of groggy half asleep state, when I close my eyes, I experience vibrations and buzzing in my ears within seconds. If I wait a couple seconds and then try to get out of bed I end up in a false awakening. What's cool is because of everything that occurred prior to the false awakening(vibrations/buzzing in ears) I know I'm in a dream or I'm at least suspicious enough to do a reality check and find out. I'd love to hear what you guys think about this and if you've ever had one of these sort of mini WBTB's

Very good ! If you prefer you can try to get out of bed with your dream body when the vibrations hits the maximum level, or just start counting until a dream scene appears. I mean, you can retain your lucidity as soon as your vibrations begin - if you try too hard you may disrupt them though.

But the nice thing is that if you can get those vibrations, you can get OUT of BED ( lol ! ) very easily

Edit: those vibrations and kind of dreams happen to me if i WILD/ SSILD.

Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way

Thanks for the response also to test when it would be appropriate for me to get out of bed What I do is when the vibrations get really intense I open my eyes a bit and if I see weird entities in my room I know I'm dreaming. But I'll actually try to just stay still with my eyes closed and wait for a dream to form next time

Try looking through your closed eyelids. That way you don't risk opening your real eyes. As soon as you can see, you can get your dream body out of bed.

I suggest to do what VagalTone said. Stand up from bed. The trick is not to use your muscles, only your mental command to get up. That way you will move your dream body.

If your body doesn't respond to your mental command, it means you are probably not in a dream. With this motionless RC you will not ruin your attempt.

You can also try to wave your arm in front of you. Same thing - use your mental power only.

You can practice this during day. Lay down, and give your arm, or your body command to move. Like rolling out of the bed. Don't use any muscles, only imagine the movement they would make. Then do this when you think you could be in a dream, or even if you don't think that. You may get a surprise. Good luck

      Gab,
this is like OBE induction technique... At least I use that. Directly from wake state.

Hach - I also want vibrations again - this time, I won't wait them out until they vane ..
If nothing else appears - I'll try getting up with mind-muscle-powers!
The only two times, I had them in the first place - they seemed to subside - and with me still awake for real..
Could be, one of these instances was a FA - the other clearly wasn't - jumped up from bed to tell my husband about these fascinating new sensations, I just had..
