Talking to your plants or pets

In your lucid dreams, when you are dreaming that you are at your own home, did you try to talk to your plants or pets? If so, how was it?

I think it'd be pretty interesting to see what their responses are, this should be a TOTM if it hasn't already been.

I burned my plant once for talking to me.

That's a story for another time though, maybe to copy into my DJ.

As far as animals, I have had used sign language to sign to my cat. It was funny watching him try to sign back, cause you know, no thumbs or balance. I was completely deaf in that dream.
