NO Sleep Paralysis
I'm absolutely terrified of the idea of sleep paralysis, I don't think I would be able to experience hallucinations, the thought of them makes me so anxious it's hard to describe. Does anyone have any lucid dream inducing techniques that they like to use which include no chance at all of falling into sleep paralysis. Thank you, any tips would be appreciated :)

DILD Technique. That has NO Sleep Paralysis at all. :)
I'm scared of Sleep Paralysis also, so that's what I use. Happy LDing(:

What sparkley said. You can also use the MILD technique, which is a variation of DILD: http://www.dreamviews.com/attaining-...technique.html There's also no need to be scared of SP. It's completely natural.
Anyway, good luck. :dreaming:

There's no need to be afraid! :D Sleep paralysis is one of the nicest and coolest feelings you can get from trying to LD. Imagine a warm and gentle full body hug! :)

Even with wilding you don't need to feel sleep paralysis (as in being unable to move) or encounter hallucinations in order to have an ld. Some people are more prone to special effects than others. Also, it is your mood that determines what you experience. If you are positive, there's only cool stuff awaiting in the dream or on your way there. :)

Most people find the hallucination phases to be interesting and pleasent.
