Was it blurry? If it was try stabilization. Just look around you, touch everything and maybe rub your hands together. Congrats of first LD! |

Yay, I had my first lucid dream today! I did have some problems with it though... I don't really know what happened before I got lucid but I just pushed my finger through my hand thinking: "wait I could be dreaming RIGHT NOW" and indeed I was. It was weird because I could control my sensations and feelings but not my sight. After I had successfully completed the rc I laid down a bit and what I saw at that moment (my bedroom door, wall and window) was more or less stuck in my eye. I tried moving over back into the posture I was in during the check but my vision wouldn't budge. Then, as a quirky little trick I tried moving in really close to my eye to remove the 'card' stuck in front of it (like the contact lens I wear) but again, no luck. It's a really similar problem to what I have previously had in my lucid dreams (quite some time ago) where my repeated blinking and eye itch wouldn't stop no matter how hard it how much I blinked. I want to see what happens, not just feel it while having a sort of patterned blindfold! |

Lucid dreams make your dreams come true!!
This has never happened to me, but when I was lucid for the first time I basically woke up in a matter of seconds. I guess everyone has their own experiences and we all struggle with stabilisation. It's a matter of time. Congrats and keep it up!! |
