Has anyone had a hypnogogic hallucination where a voice repeats your internal dialog
I've had a few instances while trying to induce a lucid dream where If I say something to myself using my internal voice, a second voice will appear and repeat what I said. the first time I experienced this was when I woke up briefly from a nap. I was still tired so I closed my eyes again, shortly after I started to feel chemical changes that told me I was about to shift into a dream state, I didn't want this to happen because I was lying in an uncomfortable position (that would have caused a fairly painful entry into a dream, it's happen many times before to me) So I tried to move but it was too late, I was already in sleep paralysis. So in response I yelled out "NO, NO NO" in my mind of course and then suddenly, 20 voices in my head started yelling "no no no" very loudly repeatedly. it was kinda creepy, it was like something you hear in a movie.
the next few times was me just experimenting and playing with it. I'd usually wake up in a drowsy like state, close my eyes again and begin hearing voices and other noises. When I started talking to myself, I'd latch my focus on a distant voice that would repeat whatever I'd say. If I said "socks in the attic" it would repeat it back to me like an echo. it was creepy but kinda fun as well. Has anyone had hypnogogic hallucinations like this before where you could get a voice to repeat what you say?
