Did I lose control? or was it the end of the dream (REM Cycle)
Hey there. Before I get down to it, I'd like to say thanks to the DV community :)
I really appreciate all the help, all the tutorials, etc.
With your help I got my 2nd lucid dream last night (relatively short though)
Okay, here we go.
Last night I had a dream that I was lying on my bed and I was trying to turn the TV off or shake something off my hand (not sure which one).
I couldn't do it then I thought to myself, "Am I Dreaming/Is this a Dream"?
I was able to do this cuz I think my brain is conditioned to question reality when something is weird, strange, or abnormal.
So yeah, I did the nose plug thing, the hand check (my index finger had like 3 cockroach leg-like feet - awesome) then I was lucid.
I tried to change the setting of the dream (from my bedroom to like a classroom or a beach) by closing my eyes and verbalizing though it failed.
I think this made me non-lucid. I feel like I lost control.
I lost the awareness that I could do whatever I want in the dream, or so I think.
All of a sudden my parents & my sister walked through the door in a hurry.
Something about picking up an "Aunt".
When I asked for her name from my sister, I woke up..
I was lucid for like 5-10mins.
Was that the end of the REM cycle?
I slept at around 9pm, woke up at 11, then went back to bed at around 11:45 (I have a habit of checking the time via my phone)
