So, I've heard that you can have profound and amazing experiences when you meditate in a lucid dream, I myself have never done it.
I was just wondering if anyone ever tried this and is willing to share their experience on it? :)

Tried it once. Best way I can describe is an exceptional feeling of peace coming over me. Absolutely brilliant. As for visuals, just a nice sunset. I find that its easier in a lucid because you can turn off distracting sounds and whatnot.
I performed it once in a lucid dream. Worth noting that I only gained lucidity because of some guy in the dream was carrying me around. Then when I meditated in Lotus position my hands naturally flowed into a Mudra not unlike the one of one of my Buddha statues I had from my parents. Next thing I know I floated upwards into the clouds still in Lotus position and saw 7 coloured chakra's lighting up in my body. Never thought I would start believing in Chakras.
I do it every now and then.
I use it to stabilize a dream when it is fading away. When the dream is fading, some rub their hands, or spin or other stuff. I put myself into meditation position, hovering in the air, stay calm and just wait. Slowly the dream starts to return, sometimes in a whole different scenario.
I also use it to have different experiences. Always in that position, hovering in the air, i let the dream take me wherever it wants. And it has been good.
Did not know it could be used to stabalize a dream, thank you for sharing! :)
I have done it several times. With different outcomes. The craziest one I had, was when I had the question in mind: who am I. Slowly I began to see the whole universe and then zooming in, into the superstructure, into galaxies, onto the earth and then onto my house. Then I heared a very clear voice saying: You are the whole universe coming to life through you. You are you.
I know very crazy. But it was a very nice experience.
Other times it just amazes me to know while meditating in a dream, that I am sleeping but at the same time can be conscious. Also I get into a very silent state, very quickly. Without thoughts. Something I never really achieve while meditating during the day.
Recently I had a few occasions where I just woke up when I wanted to meditate.
Nice thread :)
Glad to read some experiences and pumped to try it when I can.
Weird, I came to this site and registered today just to make this exact post..
I've meditated a few times while lucid.
Actually, in the past week and a half or so it's happened twice.
The first time something was chasing me(common theme for me becoming lucid) and I sort of out of nowhere realized I was dreaming, dropped down and began meditating.
Everything blacked out shortly after that.
But then last night was more... Profound.
I had an odd dream and in it I received a note written on a piece of paper from an artist I've never met (capital STEEZ).
It's weird, I almost 100% of the time become I lucid just by me realizing I'm dreaming. I don't think I've ever done one reality check, but one of the ones I read about is to try to read a book, how the words won't make sense, and another is to close your eyes because apparently you can't in a dream.
Well, I can and have closed my eyes and in this particular one I read a note that was written.
Anyways, it ended up with me realizing I was lucid, walking out of the building I was in and joining hands with this girl who then grabbed someone else's hand and we sat and meditated.
I remember as I was sitting I noticed the sky was slightly cloudy.
Like the person above said, I reached a very peaceful state pretty easily when meditating. (Really the first time for me)
Other than last night, I've noticed it usually goes one of 2 ways.
Either 1, I black out and the dream ends, or it's like it takes me "one level deeper".. Like some inception type stuff or something
I hope you will stay! :) Fascinating how it can differ from time to time, one day a blackout and the other one a deep and profound experience.
I've meditated only once in a lucid dream, I wasn't doing anything life changing though, I was making and studying trees for the entire time. Noticing how they are made, how they move, how they sound...
