Recurring DC Friends?

Hey guys! Question for people who are pretty consistent with their LD's: Do any of you have DC's that aren't based on anyone in real life, but that you would consider your friends in LD's? If so, are they recurring? I think it would be really interesting to have somewhat regular DC's that you can find from dream to dream, and I would love if you told me a little bit about them :)

Not particularly consistent with LDing yet, but I have noticed a repeat character. The few times I've encountered this character, he's always been skeptical and annoyed with me; very hard to convince him of anything. I am wondering if these odd characters portray some part of our psyche?
