Lucid dreaming- Natural vs. Trained

I have wondered what the percentage was of people who naturally have lucid dreams, without ever learning techniques or reality checks.

Around my thirteenth birthday I had no knowledge of what a lucid dream was, but I had became conscious in dreams and practices flight. Half of the dreams I could remember (Which was about four dreams per week) were lucid dreams. After I had learned about lucid dreams I have honed down the skill quite a bit (but I am still far from perfect).

I want to know if most of you out there had near the same thing as me, or if this purely natural lucid dreaming is rare. I am still somewhat new to the idea of lucidity, so I really don't know.

I remember being aware of dreaming before I knew the term "Lucid Dreaming," although I didn't change anything in those dreams.

For me I had two lucid dreams on my first night of finding out lucid dreaming through a silly tv show called American dad,
but I always had weird dreams before that when I was younger that had me making conscious decisions and questioning whether I was dreaming or not.
Tho being natural is really hard to say I was. I think it's more of a motivation and will power for me.

When I was at my prime of LD'ing,I could just will myself into having one and it worked every single time and no technique was needed
