      Can someone help me!?

Let me start off that I've been having REALLY weird dreams lately. I saw my self last week,I don't know if that's a normal thing, but I looked into a mirror and saw myself as clear as I do as when I'm akwake. I got so close and examined myself I could see myself in my eyes.
Anyways, about last night dream that had me waking up screaming.
I can't remember everything about my dream other than I recognized all the faces of everyone in my dream, and I don't know what triggered it,but I knew I was asleep. During my dream I asked these people a few things and they couldn't answer me,and if they did it was usually something that didn't make sense to give as an answer. Then that's when I knew I was asleep,I joked and said "haha don't worry about it,I know you can't answer me,because your just an extension of my subconscious, you only know as much as I do." Everyone turned and looked at me,then continued through the dream, but it was different at this point. I kept saying things like "let's see how deep we can dive I to this dream." And stuff like that. Then it progressed into a nightmare...fast. I don't even know what happened, but something about a spirit was brought up,and the dream just had this very dark, scary undertone to it at this point.
I don't remember the transition to this point, but I felt as if I was how you feel seconds before you wake up(if that makes any sense). That's when things got bad,I was laying in my bed, things were quiet(I still knew I was asleep) then a quiet high pitch noise started, almost like in the ghost/spirit movies. It got progressively louder, and louder, with the increase of volume of the noise I got this awful feeling, like when you know a really bad car accident is about to happen. This went on for a few seconds until it got so loud and I felt so bad that I felt like something was there with me. I woke up screaming and woke up my whole house. Does anyone know why this happened,or at least have had the same thing happened?
I just found this website and figured someone could help.

You shouldn't worry much about it
The ringing noise, vibrations and this feeling wasn't anything supernatural or aliens related
It was natural Dream World Entrance process

      You had an nightmare
That caused you to wake up
But because of that nightmare you escaped so fast dream that your body was still asleep when your mind woke up
When your mind woke up you probably didn't move much of your body
As a result your body thought that your still asleep and since you woke up during Rem Phase it was trying to put your mind in dream world the same way it does naturaly when your unconsciouss and reach Rem Phase
When your in REM Sleep Phase and your body is asleep, You will be moved onto Dream World
Those sensations (ringing, noises, vibrations) you expirenced are natural process
You expirence them every night when your entering a REM Phase aka dream world
But you don't remember them or anything about it since your brain was partialy shutdown when that happend

People who practice lucid dreaming with WILD Method expirence same stuff
Since in this method we are tricking our body into falling asleep while our mind will be awake
I had Dream Entry Sensations a quite few times when i was performing WILD:
      - Random Shapes floating on my sight, that might eventualy form into a scene that takes my whole sight (Forming of dream)
      - Random thoughts which you don't control at all
      - Feeling of floating
      - Body distortions
      - Ringing Noises
      - Vibrations

This sounds oddly similar to my meditation and napping experiences. I am very often harassed by manifestations of my subconscious when I am trying to sleep especially during naps. Often times I hear things speak out to me and call my name. I have even had small conversations.

I have heard loud noises and unsettling sounds and sensations of things around my paralyzed body. What I do is that I visualize and make myself feel a vibrating energetic shield around myself and violently push the things back, telling them im trying to sleep.

Feelings of dread are common in conscious dreams. A good part of our dreams are processing negative emotions. Th elonger you deal with these things the less scary it gets.
