We've seen these before, I think one of the most recent ones was Remee.
Remee only had LED's that you could program to flash at a desired time, where NeuroOn sounds like it is a full suite. What attracts me to NeuroOn is that it seems to be a combination of Zeo and Remee, with some additional bonus'.
From the Kickstarter page, they can record not only EEG, but also EOG (eye tracking), and EMG (muscle movement). I'm really interested in what they do with EOG. If anyone has followed "IAmCoder" (@ lucidcode | Hacking human consciousness in search of peak performance. ), he has created a rig that plays music when REM is detected via EOG. It seems to me that would be superior over designating a static time to signal LED's or play music.
Although NeuroOn will have LED's, I'm unaware if there will be a feature to be able to flash those LED's based on the EOG detection. I couldn't even find an API mentioned on the Kickstarter page, aside from a Developers version for $750.
The Updates page from Kickstarter says they are working to finish by July 31st.
Anyone get any hands on with this, or have any thoughts?
