Deeper in the dream? What do you mean by that? More clarity in dreams, more controlling or what?
It is a feeling, I have been so much deeper, fully immersed as to where it truly felt like another world, another lifetime and when I remember these LDs I am remembering something that almost seems real. The textures where intricate, the colors where bold and dazzling, the DCs where assorted, there where very flat and 2 dimensional types and then there where what seemed to be deeper more aware ones and then if I was very lucky I met with DC's I wouldn't even categorize as that because they acted independently of my wants or expectations, they showed me things, explained things they seemed autonomous and sentient. Once I was told that I was being reviewed and that I was doing pretty well but had much work to do. Now...I am back to a very flat adn shallow dream world, even if I am lucid I am barely there. I'm just not sure how to get back.
Yes, the answer is simple.
This drastic difference between these LDs is because of the memory.
Studies show that even 5 seconds of deep sleep after a dream will diminish it's memory a lot.
The problem is that most of the richness of the experience is lost because you fell back to deep sleep after the LD.
What you should do is, after completing your LD goal, wake yourself up. This will leave the memory of the experience intact, and you'll feel like you were just there, not like feeling it as a distant memory.
Also supplements help, because they make your memory save more details of the dream.
Side note: Try to shout at the dream "Clarity Now!"
This will add more details to the dream, turn it HD lol
Hope I helped, and ask me more if you want to :)
A agree with LouaiB here, and would like to add that you should always be keeping up with dream recall. Make sure you always record your dreams in one form or another. I find that this not only lets me recall lucid dreams better, but makes my dreams more vivid as they occur.
Good luck going deeper.
I think you just need to let go and be more involved in the dream, normally after we realise that it's a dream we go from "we're in a dream" to a "I'm dreaming" mentality, meaning that before we were actually within a dream world and then since we know that it's a dream and have an idea that we are actually in bed we stop seeing the dream as a place we are in and more as something we are watching and interacting with.
It's kinda like when you are watching a movie you can simply watch without getting involved or you can let go and for a moment you feel drawn into the movie.
Basically take some time to feel that you are wherever you are rather than treating it all as "just a dream" and start to control everything. Interact rather than take control.
