If you want to make you dreams much clearer and more intense you obviously have to increase your awareness. Many tutorials on ada are just too complicated. All you really have to do is to be present in every moment. How i do that? I focus usually on the back of my head this grounds you to present moment and avoid you getting lost in thought. I dont want to do explaining but i promise you if you manage to focus on the back of your head the whole day this will do wonders to your dreams. |

What does "focus on the back of your head" mean exactly? Like how do you do that? Sorry if this is a really dumb question! :// |

You are not your thoughts...
Good tip, I'm not sure if you're talking about self-awareness or not, but that's what I would suggest. We sleepwalk through our dreams because we sleepwalk through our day. Just start paying more attention to your own actions, thoughts, feelings, and self and this will help greatly. Get off of auto-pilot. Imo it's the most simple and powerful thing one can do. |

Most of us would find it impossible to focus on anything with no lapse in attention for more than even sixty seconds before the internal dialogue begins to churn. I suggest meditation to learn how to quiet the constant rambling of the mind- give all of your attention to your breath in every moment. Should your mind wander, gently let it return to your breath. Over time, this strengthens one's capacity to maintain their attention on a single thing, or to remain aware and conscious moment-to-moment. As mimihigurashi mentioned, we sleepwalk through our days, and thus our nights. Awareness is the key to lucidity, and meditation is the key to awareness. |

True meditation is the best way to become more aware. This technique idea for me was to create habit of pulling yourself back to present from your thoughts. Lots of people spend their whole day in their mind thinking about what happened yesterday and for thinking future plans. They miss whats happening troughout the day. I doesnt matter how lond you focus on the back of you head its just a way simple way of creating habit of pulling yourself to present. |

I have done this always on my forehead (third eye) but never on the back. Definitely a try! |
