WOW!!!!!! I saw the galaxy! BEST LUCID DREAM EVER!

      Haha sorry for drastic title.

Guys, gals, this lucid dreaming business is NO JOKE. I AM BLOWN AWAY. Seriously, how can our minds possibly do this?

I have lucid dreamed before, and had some incredible experiences looking up at the sky on what seemed like alien worlds, with completely different constellations. Before last night, my most memorable experience was from almost 2 years ago when I woke up in a dream looking up at what I'm pretty sure was the Pleiades star cluster up close. I was new to Lucid dreaming at the time so I was so excited that I woke up pretty fast.. but I made a post about it on dream views- if any of you are interested, here is the experience-

      http://www.dreamviews.com/lucid-expe...-pleiades.html

On to my lucid dream last night..

Firstly, I had a close friend do an energy healing on me last night with what he calls "Access Consciousness", or something. He asked me to visualize the most beautiful thing imaginable while he did it, standing and relaxed, I envisioned dancing and colliding galaxies and the cosmos. I then went to bed feeling relaxed, with the universe on my mind and in awe of how we are all apart of this crazy thing.

I started to hear voices and conversations as I fell asleep, very audible, kind of scared me at first because I have had a terrifying sleep paralysis experience and when I hear the voices I fear the worst. I'm talking about seeing and hearing demons, but thats another story. Anyway, this voice was a male voice and he was giving me advice, it was meaningful, it was soothing, unlike normally which its hard to make out what their saying and somewhat annoying. I understood every word but for some reason can't remember our conversation for the life of me. Keep in mind I was still semi awake so I wasn't asleep yet, just in the, hypnagogic (spelled right?) phase.

As I drifted to sleep I literally went straight from conscious awake phase into the dream, it was faded at first but I remember telling myself "go lucid, stay lucid, you can do it" to myself. Here is where it began..

I was walking down some stairs. Like, wooden creaky stairs going into a basement. I get into the basement and it's all dark like I'm on the inside of a barn or a toolshed or something and I remember wondering why my subconscious chose this environment. I saw tools on the wall and a work bench, I literally had no idea why I was dreaming about this. So I went with it, and had fun with spinning around only to see tools re arranged and different objects. I started having fun with it and accepted this bizarre environment..

Then I spun around and found an Ipad on the workbench. AN IPAD. I picked it up and starting playing some bizarre game that literally made no sense but was very fun and colorful. I remember thinking how does our minds come up with this stuff?? So amazing!!

I realized I was getting a bit excited and knew that if I got too stoked my dream would end. So I asked my subconscious, if I could see the universe..

THE WALLS WITH TOOLS AND RANDOM THINGS ON THEM TURNED INTO AN HD "SCREEN", and I'm having so much trouble putting this into words because of the emotion I'm currently feeling, but on the "screen" was the most brilliant and beautiful thing I have ever seen, a galaxy swirling with the most beautiful colors I can't even begin to describe. In the center, a light emerged from it and came into my heart, like it was healing me, seriously people I can't even convey this in the english language, we are dealing with something divine here, either that or our subconscious minds are FAR more intelligent and complex than we could ever imagine.. and loving and compassionate.

Sorry for the long post but I am really stoked to share this with you all.

For those new at lucid dreaming and think this is all a joke or too good to be true, or haven't attained lucidity yet, please keep trying I PRAY you experience lucidity at this level. And I pray this is only the beginning of more dreams like this.

      Love you all!!!

Wow, that's beautiful. The whole thing. I can feel the excitement and awe eminating from your post, and I'm happy for you.

I have seen some unbelievably beautiful things, even if it was just a plain valley with green grass, or a pink nebula I was flying by. Somehow things in LD/astral are so much more beautiful. Pure. Unobstructed by anything. The core of the nature. The true form of matter.

      Happy travels.

      Literally sounds amazing!

I totally believe that our subconscious minds are in fact more intelligent and complex then we have even began to understand. Your questioning of the way the mind comes up with these bizarre features posits a good example of just a small feature of the subconscious that we don't know anything about. We can thus far only speculate. And honestly, theories of glueing together past experience and dreaming it up seems incomplete at best.. And I think I'm being generous.

However, from my experience with lucidity, it is remarkably real and experienced as very vivid and feels just as important and thus memorable as is real-life experience. Thus, I can totally imagine what it feels like to see a galaxy. It sounds divine! And surely must be more intense than watching a picture from the Hubble space telescope. Which is intense. But nobody has ever really seen much of space with the naked eye. So maybe your experienced can be likened to traveling to the moon on a spaceship. Except with the addition of also having the moon pour lovejuice in you .

Ahh this should be a lucid task for me... I had some space dreams recently but nothing like that! Need to remember to ask my dreams about things, and yes its crazy how our unconscious can go crazy in our dreams

Haven'y had any "divine" experiences either, but it sounds amazing, thanks for sharing!

Awsome ! Sounds amazing I've been wanting to have a lucid dream in space like that as well but I've only managed to get to space once by diving through the ground but it looked like it was a pixilated picture off google or something lol I was angry that my brain gave me a budget space experience but looking back i wasn't lucid enough.

Wow amazing... I have a ton of galaxy dreams under my belt... I get to feel very homesick...

And happening after a healing session and being the Pleiades... I have a feeling you might be a Pleiadian Starseed. That is way off topic and beyond dreaming stuff to post here... send me a PM if you wanna talk about this

You have no idea how right and accurate some of this stuff is... that was more than a dream...

If I'm ever blessed with an experience like that again I'll have to give that a shot! I didn't actually have time to jump in the screen because the center of the galaxy started streaming white light into my chest and I "vibrated" into non lucidity, I woke up in another dream telling these people in a van how epic this lucid dream I just had was. Then I realized I was never in a van to begin with I was at home sleeping, and actually woke up..

Thank you all for your positivity too! I'm inspired to have people like you around. I definitely found the right place. We live in a society where people seem to be trained and conditioned not to question reality, or seek a deeper profound meaning to all of this, so I just keep it to myself and only share it with like minded people. Most of society, at least western society, they just sleep walk through life and their dreams..

If this dream taught me anything it's that I want to lucid LIVE. Just knowing that a higher awareness that profound exists, beyond the veil of our five sense perception, that thought alone gets me stoked on life. Some may disagree with the "higher awareness" statement but I stand by it, personally I think there's more to this than just entertainment..

      Thanks for your replies!

Ohhh man.. That was one hell of a screw up. I am in utter disbelief that I referred the energy work to "ACCESS CONSCIOUSNESS" when it was actually QI GONG. My friend is into it too but I'm not buying it, looks to me like another knockoff of Scientology, anyway I hope I didn't give those scamsters any publicity through this post!!

For my own conscience I had to clarify the OP!!!

That's awesome man! Lucid dreaming is truly an amazing thing. I would love to have spacey dreams such as yours. Exploring space and experiencing zero gravity is one of my next lucid goals.

      I did this once.

Not sure if I understand correctly, but was the galaxy actually, well, galaxy size? I mean, properly large?

My experience was floating in the emptiness of space, looking at all the galaxies, in scale to our own universe. Silence, swirling, lights, nebula.

      It was gorgeous.

Got a lucid dream this night and thought about your post. I decided to try it out so I looked at the stars but they looked quite normal. A couple seconds later I looked again but this time it wasn't normal. All I could see was like a milky way and it was so incredibly beautiful!
