You're texting a parent and suddenly LD appears in the text. Unfortunately it was a spelling error on my phone and not really a Lucid Dream. It's also never occurred to me to do reality checks when talking about lucid dreaming with friends or family. Did a reality check when the text appeared just to be safe. When?!! I've been so close a few times this past year!
Interesting thread! Last year I was trying to screw in a screw and kept dropping the screw so many times to the point I said " this HAS to be a lucid dream! Did reality check and unfortunately discovered it was real.

When you're watching a documentary on the news about lucid dreaming. Didn't even cross my mind to do it then. Was real, though. :P
