First of all, stop talking down on yourself all the time, you seem to have issues with your self-esteem.
As for your question, you can to some degree at least practice those things while dreaming (like, trying to figure out how you are supposed to solve an equation), and you could also try asking a dream character for advice.
So in theory, you can use lucid dreams to improve in several of the things you mentioned, although you cannot actually start learning something that you are not at all familiar with;
you need to have something to work on from the beginning.
Also, lucid dreaming is a unique way to develop your personality and completely change your life, because in lucid dreams you are in a safe, private environment where nothing can hurt you, which means you don't need to fear any permanent negative consequences.
But in order to really start having success with lucid dreams, you need to feel confident that you will eventually succeed.
Try different methods, and stick with each of them for at least a couple weeks.
Personally I have found that writing down my dreams in as much detail as possible and then immediately falling asleep again very often results in False Awakenings, which often lead to lucidity.
You can do anything you want to do.
I think watching this and doing the practice at the end will be good for you.

Like Yuusha said, in theory you an do anything. Just last night I was pushed of a balcony and a gint cake saved my life!
In all seriousness though that will require practice and persistence because just think how hard it is to become lucid and remember what you wanted to do. I have the same thought as you though, I want to practice things to become better at them in real life. So far sex and learning to fly have me preoccupied however.
