Progress!
After three days of reality checks and going back over the day's events before I fall asleep seems to be helping. I nearly had a WILD last night. I was using a guided meditation because I have a somewhat difficult time falling asleep. The person's voice (a woman) is soft enough that it helps me to relax.
Anyway, like I said, I have made a little progress. Last night I entered sleep paralysis or at least think I did. All I knew was my body was very stiff (frozen?) as I couldn't move and I think that's what made me afraid.
I've been doing my best for the reality check throughout the day. For the past few days I've done about seven or so each day during the late afternoon. I did remember one dream, but it's nothing important.
Does thinking about what happened to you during the day and trying to remember the details (people and places) help others on here for lucid dreaming at all?

Awesome job!
Perseverance is what matters the most and is what it will get you successful.
Keep it up and you will be lucid dreaming in no time. Sleep Paralsyis (REM Atonia) is awesome!
