I have never tried to create a dream character, simple or advanced. Have you ever had a conversation with a dream character, while being very attentive? How advanced was their personality?
(All I could find about Tuplas is that they are chocolate bars. I would definitly make my dream characters into chocolate bars. Yumm!) :)
Ive never created a dream character myself as my dreams seem to be bustling with them (and Ive never actually considered creating one to be honest). But when you go on about dream characters and some being advanced i think its fair to say (in my dreams at least) that most dream characters are hollows or zombies or husks or whatever and there just plodding through the dream-scape with very little intelligence behind their eyes.
However, some dream characters seem to be more intelligent than I, and it is these characters I am most interested in. They seem to have an agenda all their own. They're sometimes angry at you for becoming lucid and others try talking you out of becoming lucid or just straight up fight you.
They also seem to exude an energy that is immediately apparent. The first time i met one of the advance beings i looked into its eyes and i saw life there. I felt and knew it was something other. Something more. It was quite sinister and challenging. Id love it if others knew who these dream characters are or represent.
also its tulpa not tupla -

Wow Voodooste, I liked reading about those tulpas! I didn't know about them.
It seems to me though, that tulpas appear in the physical world, not in the "dream world", and that you have to be a Buddha, enlightened. I'm not at that point yet.
But you did say "like a tulpa"! So, yes probably. In the same way as they make Tulpas in "real life", you would just need a summoning technique, and with luck, the rest would be done naturally, they would gain a self of their own, technically.
Honestly, though, I think just talking to the different dream characters around you and paying extra attention to what they say is the easiest way to find an advanced dream character, because in my mind, if you create a character from scratch, they will probably have as much chance of being an empty character as any other dream character. Maybe just ask a dull dream character to lead you to the wisest of all. And see what happens.
Not all dream characters are built equally. It seems like everyone that continues on the lucid road runs into these "advanced DCs" They seem to have a personality, agenda, and most of the time knowledge of the dream state". I would say to keep getting lucid and you should see some. :)
Sort of. I have a character who I would like to meet more in lucid dreams. I met her at least twice in dreams a long while ago. Still working on it.
On the subject of "advanced dream characters," I sometimes meet dream beings who seem more aware and have more personality than others I meet most of the times. I really enjoy those lucid dream encounters and wish it would happen more often.
(for some reason, in a lot of my lucid dreams I am completely alone, and don't find anyone)
In a lot of my really vivid and aware lucid dreams I used to have this problem. I think that it was my version of "being alone in the universe" that my mind made it so. I use tricks to find people now, and also get lucid a lot with people around, but it was annoying for a while because I would start looking for people instead of doing goals, summoning people or just exploring.
Hi, it was Nerofaora who said like a tupla i just corrected the spelling to tulpa.ha.
Thanks for the advice however I've already tried asking the other zombie characters and they seem to be "in on it" so to speak. One dream i became lucid and straight away started asking every dream character i saw to "tell me about the higher ups! Where are the higher ups". I received nonsense answers and stupidity by the spadeful. Then i came across a reception area and a young sassy nonchalant young lady was sat at a computer behind a desk. I asked if she knew of the higher ups and (she reminded me of Janine off ghostbusters where she picks up the phone and say " yeah, Ghostbusters,..... yeah... were back"). ha! Anyway, in my dream i asked about the higher ups and she told me she knew of them but i needed a ticket!
I was extremely excited and had to calm myself down so i didn't wake up. I stood there waiting and watching as she tapped a way at her computer and started printing this ticket off. The printer made all these wrong sounding noises and she groaned and ripped the ticket up and screwed it into a ball and threw it in a bin. She then started tapping away at the computer again and she was huffing and puffing and tutting and rolling her eyes etc. And i stood there trying hard to remain lucid. The longer i stood there the more worried i got that the dream would end. She eventually printed me another ticket but when i looked at it it looked all gnarled and chewed up with holed in it and the ink all smudged.
"Sod that!" i thought and jumped out of the window and tried flying as high as i could. When i looked down the entire scene looked like the game civilization, complete with the black shrouded areas that you haven't explored yet. Ive had other similar dreams like this where I've tried to find these "higher ups".
I'm sure there's more to them than meets the eye.
Its possible to have a normal conversation with a dc. Perhaps its because we've been speaking to people for a long time that our brain can create a dc that can do that. However, its great how they can say the right things to help us with our problems without us telling them what to say. Its interesting to obvserve them. However, there are those dcs that are so annoying and dumb. In my recent dream a dc was licking my head and trying to eat me i think. I was lucid so it was really weird.
So far as I know, this is possible. It's actually one of the projects that I am working on right now is to manifest a character from a story that I am working on into a dream. I haven't had much success but I haven't given the project much attentionQuote:

I have made a dream character! I initially created him to do any difficult dream control stuff for me, but he ended up being a wise and loving entity that I can talk to in my dreams.
I made him by imagining what it would feel like to be in his presence while writing down the traits that I wanted him to embody. I think I wrote things like he is wise, he is compassionate, he is loving, he is powerful. I also named him! I thought it was an interesting experience and when I started to summon him in my dreams I found that it worked perfectly. I feel as though I created a nice link between my conscious mind and the wisdom of my unconscious mind through this DC. :content:
I really enjoy having him in my dreams and I'm really glad that I made him.
