LD stuff appearing in my dreams

The past few nights LD-related stuff has been appearing in my dreams.

1) I've been using an app to flash subliminal messages on my PC. A couple of nights ago I had a dream where I installed a light on my neighbor's garage that flashed and only I could see. It was supposed to help me become more aware in my dreams, but the neighbor kept getting in front of it, blocking my view.

2) Tonight I had a dream about a prison break. While we were waiting in hiding, laying down behind display cases full of pistols but no ammo, I put my arm down a hole. It just felt good... When the time came to make our move, my arm wouldn't move. It was numb and tingling and I'm thinking, damn, I'm on the verge of a WILD. Do I go ahead with the escape or stay here until I fall to sleep and enter my dream?

3) Another dream from tonight is I'm at a camp in the mountains with my sister and brother-in-law. I spent the entire first day fishing and I knew he wanted to party. So I think about rearranging the sleeping schedule so we go to bed earlier, thinking they'll get up first and I'll naturally awake for a WBTB without using an alarm.

All three were involved dreams with strong continuity and plot lines and very vivid and detailed, but I never reached the level of awareness to question my reality. Any suggestions how to leverage this into lucidity? Perhaps consider these dream signs and set an intention to do a reality check should anything LD-related appears? Seems a little nebulous to me though.

The same has happened two me in the past, I've had a dream that I went into a lucid dream shop, one of the t-shirts had a slogan on it saying 'pinch me, I'm dreaming'. A Dc has also told me I'm dreaming then killed me causing me to wake up. A couple of nights I had an FA and became lucid. So it's definitely a good sign.

Yup. Had my first LD last week in a FA. I need to get in the habit of questioning reality and RCing every single time I awake...

Funny, I just realized the flashy light dream. I knew it was connected to the subliminal messaging app I installed, but couldn't make a direct connection between the flashing light and messages flashing very quickly on the screen. Looking at the monitor I notice the task bar and system tray icon is a light bulb. Hah! :chuckle:

That is great news!
It means you are a split-millimeter away from lucidity! The best advice I could give you is to visualize scenes in which the idea of dream appears, and turn lucid. Go through your last dreams over and over, and visualize yourself turning lucid as soon as the idea of dream appears. Visualize yourself doing a conclusive RC when you hear the word "dream", or you think about dreaming. Order your prospective memory to remind you to do a RC when you hear one of your trigger words, or you think about them (it won't hurt to add the words "weird", "strange" and "bizarre" as well as "dream" and "dreaming").
