Now, I am pretty sure he knows his dreams are not real - based on what he says - and he has actually learned to recognize when he is dreaming and navigate his dreams. Recently, soon after he recognized he was dreaming, he summoned a water scooter and enjoyed immensely his ride - and afterwards he flew around in good control - as he told me in the morning. I don't see why this does not count as a lucid dream - and even if it doesn't, I wish my parents had taught me how to do this when I was a kid...
