Whenever I sleep longer than the alarm clock I wake up breifly and I believe that I imagine some things and kind of fall asleep and when I wake up I believe that what I remember is my imagination and not an actual dream. Is that true?

I think these are called dreamlets (correct me if i am wrong), these are dreams but there are very very blurry and short so you think these are just you thinking.
