Lucid, but can't remember how.

Last night I found myself in a situation where I was dreaming and I knew I was dreaming. There were elements of the dream that I could control and I was walking around exploring a landscape. I could not remember becoming lucid, I just was.

Has anyone else had this experience?

Yep. Not uncommon. Sometimes you just know...no big "switch" from dreaming to lucid....more like "since I am dreaming I think I will..."

Yeah, I had that a little over a week ago! The imagery was vivid. My awareness that I was dreaming kind of crept up on me discreetly. I knew I was dreaming and just started going about things. My sense of awareness was probably sitting at, say, 3.5/5. I didn't have *complete* comprehension of my situation, but I causally enjoyed the experience (flying, making things appear, confronting a DC).

Yep! I sometimes find myself walking through a random dream and it just hits me, I don't even have to do anything, and I say to myself "I am dreaming". No technique or anything.
