Hello all .. when I'm very tired and know it's only a matter of minutes before I'm sleeping, I hear breathing. It's about a split second in between my physical breathing. It's only the intakes of breath and I know it's me. It isn't loud, overpowering or scary, but it's a second breathing pattern. I'm not sure this deserves its own thread but I wanted to know if this happens to anyone else or if you have a reason for this...peace.
I have something similar happened few times while WILDing. At certain point, I stopped hearing my breathing with my ears and I heard it internally somehow. Like when your hear sounds when your head is under water. It was coming from inside of me. It was pretty cool.
Thats what happens. It's like putting ear plugs in so you can barely hear anything. You can still hear your own breathing but inside. Its like its only the intake of breath too, which makes sense as the part where i breath out is barely audible anyhow. So i'm hearing it, its in sync with my pattern but its a second "breathing" than my physical breathing. I've tried tricking myself too (I sound crazy now:-) )I've done a double breath and a stutter or some slight change but I don't get a replication, I guess I am making myself more aware and slightly wakening up so it goes away? This could be when you're about to into sleep paralysis. I've read a lot about OBE's and this is when it can happen - during paralysis. The other breathing you can hear is probably, though not certainly, another entity in your vicinity.
